Food for Inflammation and Nourishing the Inflamed Body

A great kick off to the new year my very first article about food, inflammation and auto-immune disease in AromaCulture Magazine a beautiful and wise online publication about all things herbalism and aromatherapy.

A note from editor and creator Erin Stewart . " This month's issue of the magazine focuses on the theme of autoimmune disorders. They have become so common and, especially in our realm of work, many of the clients we work with are dealing with some kind of autoimmune issue. I hope that this collection of articles written by practitioners who are experienced with these things will be helpful for you." January 2019.

Erin is right, auto-immune disease, inflammation and often chronic pain are an all too familiar everyday part of many peoples lives and disease rates within our communities are increasing at what feels to me like an alarming rate. As a chef, herbalist and person who eats, I know when we choose foods and herbs that support our health, food can be like medicine.

This magazine is filled with wonderful articles, recipes, wisdom and insight that can help you along your health and wellness journey.
